Sometimes Cheetos make a feverish child feel much better. She was sooooo hot and uncomfortable that we stripped, (well, she did anyway) ate Cheetos and watched a previously recorded Next Food Network Star. Once the ibuprofen kicked in, I was more than happy to have a anti-snuggle child want to fall asleep on my shoulder. It feels so good to be needed like that.

Second 5k...check!
As soon as I announced I was going to do the Trek Around the Trail 5k…Rob piped up, “I want to do it.” Since it was a 10k, we did a relay in order to hand off kids. He ran the first half of the 10k, then met him at the turn around point with the 4 kids and I ran the second leg. We ran it in just over 1 hour 10 minutes. Both coming in at 35 minutes+ each. (I had the uphill leg I want you to know. J)
