I am starting a new segment that has been on my mind for....well....for as long as I have been eating food. There are a few things that make my eyes roll back in my head with pure ecstasy and I have just now realized how many I really do have.
Every once in a while I will spotlight one food item that not only makes me moan but could sustain my life on a deserted island. We are not talking about fresh corn that is sweet in the summer or a hot bowl of homemade soup, I am talking about things that send you into blubbering hysterics over what it does to your taste buds. The kind of food that is impossible to put down no matter the repercussions.
I have already spoken about one of my very favorites being the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. But today I would like to expound on another gift from the the gods. That being the Cinnamon Wheel from Papa Murphy's Take and Bake Pizza.

Oh, yes! This gooey, buttery, brown sugary beauty rests upon a bed of fresh dough and is so light and airy that inhaling one piece whole is inevitable. Now, the wheel is one thing but when you slather on a layer of the included cream cheese frosting, you take your mouth to a whole new level of euphoria. I am telling you people, this thing doesn't get any more ridiculous. It takes a lot of concentration on my part to pace myself and let others have some. If this was served at a party, I would have a really hard time not looking like the over-indulgent guest hovering around the dessert table going for fourths and fifths.
Trust me, try it. And if you must share, buy 2. They are $3.99 and worth triple that. And if you are going to do it, make sure it is fresh and hot out of your oven.
As you can see, I am a woman of very sophisticated taste.

I was thinking that I might have a minor obsession with cookbooks as I was cleaning out my stash. I LLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEE a good cookbook or cooking magazine. Nothing inspires me more.
