Do you ever look at someone else's high maintenance child and think, "Glad that's not my kid!" I used to think that a lot and then I started to wonder if that high maintenance child is mine. Comparatively, Olivia is great but she seems to be in the "handful" stage right now. She can be so stubborn and hilarious at the same time.
See if you can catch my drift with the following pictures.
After going to bed (which she hates) she decided to teach us parents a lesson and strip every cover (including the fitted sheet and mattress pad) off her bed and throw it overboard in a fit of rage. I caught her sitting on the cold vinyl mattress realizing the enormity of what she had done.

Right now she is largely into babies and as you can see in my previous post, she gets a real kick out of holding them. Well, today she found a colored marker cap and tucked it in between two bean bags. You can see her pride as she smiles. (Look at the bottom of the picture.) "Ssshhhh" she says to me, "the baby is sleeping!" How can you not find that ridiculously hilarious and endearing.

All I can say is, I think Pieper and her would be great buddies! Let's get the two together!!!
Ya I got one of those too. Callie is constantly doing "normal" things most of my other kids didn't do. Sometimes I look at her and say, why do you have to be so normal?
She is so stinkin' cute!
