This is a big day for me...and this is my story.
In 2002, I was finding myself on the phone with my mother asking for recipes almost daily and I decided it was time to compile all my childhood favorites into my very own cookcook. After countless hours of work, I printed out my first cookbook, called "Simply The Best." For the next few years, I continued to add, change the layout and make it perfect. The title was then changed to "made from scratch". I even went onto sell it at holiday bazaars and give it to family for gifts. Back then, it was printed on regular white paper and put in a three-ring binder.
For the past couple of years, I have gathered quite a few of my own favorites that I decided to put into a totally different book; all my own. The first cookbook is all the recipes from my childhood (I have not finished that one yet) and the book that was finally completed this week is called "made from scratch, a second batch". This one is filled with nothing I grew up with but everything I now love and make for my kids.
Feel free to click on the widget on the right side of my blog to check it out. You are welcome to try recipes and although a little pricey, you can order it as well. I have only included the recipes I deemed "exceptional" and would make over and over again. Most of the recipes that I have been posting in my "Tested Recipe of the Week" column are included in this book.
I am very proud to present to you....MY COOKBOOK!

Hey Sweet Girl,
It's so fun reading your posts. It is great keeping up with your family. I was dragged into the blogging world by my kiddos but now I love keeping up with everyone. A cookbook made from your mom's recipes? Wow... Sign me up. Where can I buy one? Love ya
That great! I'm going to check it out - I've been needing to switch up our dinners around here! Thanks for sharing it!
