Only a Father & His Son

It's a pretty special thing...the bond between a father and his son. You just can't get that same bond between a mother and her son or even a mother and her daughter. I know that these two will be good friends for a very long time.

When they went on their father/son campout, there were some tell tale signs:

Who else would wake up 34 times at night, constantly tucking you in just to make sure you were warm enough, even though you only had one blanket yourself?

Who else would give you the seat closest to the warm fire and fix you a cup of hot chocolate and not worry about if you are eating enough fiber for breakfast?

Who else is going to let you throw rocks in the river all day long until you thought you would burst with happiness even though he would rather be taking a nap?

Who else would take you to see a giant waterfall in the forest even though the bridge was dangerous and the grass full of bugs?

Who else would let you stay in your pajamas all day, all night and then all day again and not worry about what others think or how dirty you are?

Dad!

Moms just can't be this much fun!
