Peanut Butter Egg Showdown

As you all may know I have a serious obsession with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Well, I was at Walgreens yesterday and needed a few filler items and I decided that a taste test between peanut butter eggs was in order. Is Reese's really the best?

I picked up three different kinds that were in the Easter isle.
1. Russell Stover's Candies Peanut Butter Egg (middle)
2. Palmer Peanut Butter Filled Egg (left)
3. Reese's Peanut Butter Egg (right)

Rob and I had a taste test and although we thought that the Palmer egg would be horrific, it was actually much much better than Russell Stovers'. Of course the winner was the Reese's by far. There is a much higher peanut butter filling to chocolate content and it is dryer than the other two. Palmer's came in a close second with taste but Russell Stover's was way behind in the ranks. They weren't even close. Don't waste your money on them. They all run about the same price anyway.

So, Merry Christmas! I just told you which Peanut Butter Egg to spend your precious money and calories on.

When I was in 7th grade I bought a whole package of Reese's Peanut Butter cups... and ate them all myself... one right after the other.
I have never liked them since :) So luckily they aren't a calorie temptation for me.... Cadbury mini eggs on the other hand --- No matter how many I eat I can't make myself sick of them.

This is good to know... I will stick with the Reese's Peanut Butter Egg. :) Thanks for doing the showdown for me. It saved me a few miles at the gym.

Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs are the best! I have an obsession with them as well. I can't wait for Easter so I can have them. I've found the the Reese's Big Cup is very similar for those peanut butter emergencies during the rest of the year!

Have a great day!

Sounds like a Science Fair Project in the making. Fun. I'm jealous, I would love a little peanut butter now and then in any form.
