I quickly said yes to attending a football game for Rob's favorite college football team but he was reluctant to mention that it was in Pullman, WA...5 hours away. We bought the tickets but didn't realize it would be an ALL DAY adventure...in a white-out blizzard...where we might die of hypothermia.
We tagged along with our friends the Hatch's, Hess's, and Buck's.
It was a stressful drive there in the snow and ice and having to stop 2 times for potty breaks was a bit ridiculous since we had no kids. Pregnant ladies are so much maintenance (a.k.a me).
We bundled up looking like the stay-puffed marshmallow man and thought we would be fine with enough layers.
WRONG!
I have NEVER, EVER in my lifetime been so miserably cold. I was seriously afraid that I might lose a digit. I was suicidal.
The first half of the game looked a lot like this...(this was the beginning of the half-time show)...and I felt only half like a popsicle.
But 20 minutes later, this is what the field looked like. (Look behind the giant blueberry)
I even captured that giant blueberry on the jumbotron.
It ended up being a great game since we came back to win in the last quarter.
Go Utes!
(Like I care.)
