It's Official

Her name is officially Tatum Rose Atwood.

Yesterday was her big day.

Tatum was blessed by her father yesterday in church.

Among other things Rob blessed her with a keen mind, a desire to seek out righteousness and to be helpful at home. She cried through the whole blessing and it is no wonder why since she pooped right up her back just seconds before the blessing. (literally seconds)

Luckily, it didn't get on her white dress...that happened later as I was teaching my lesson in Relief Society. A friend had to take her out and change her diaper again. This time, she stuck her pretty little shoe into that pile of poo and then spread it all over her dress. It was just awesome. What are you gunna do?

Grandma Monson flew in all the way from Tennessee just to meet her and be here for this event. Those two had a lot of good conversations. It was hard to see her leave.

It was an absolutely close-to-tears exhausting week leading up to this day and after my 3 hour dead-to-the-world nap, I am feeling much better.

She is a treasure. I can't wait to see what she amounts to be.
