My Pie

Here is the pie contest winners announcement in the Maple Valley & Covington Reporter.

Did you happen to notice the pie pictured at the top right here? So exciting!!

This was Police Chief Bennett, the one who I saw enjoying my pie with a bob of the head and an eyebrow raising. The pie she is holding is not my pie.

You are probably all tired of hearing about my pie but I want to set a few things straight:

1. I do this mainly as a journal entry so I can have my posts printed at the end of the year as my journal.

2. I get overly excited when I see my name in the paper so it is just fun to share.

3. I love being a part of a community and getting to know people so that is a huge reason why I attend this events.

Hey, a friend also suggested I put this out there: If anyone is interested in buying fresh pies off me, just give me a call and I would be happy to whip one up for a birthday, Thanksgiving or heck just because it is a Tuesday and you feel like some dang good pie. I do:
