I am still here, breathing slowly now since it is Friday. I am new to the whole "taking-kids-to-school" issue that consumes one's life. Back and forth, to and fro. Fit in some appointments, volleyball (mmmmmmm I love volleyball) and institute and one might never find time to check her email.
But alas, I am aware you are all there, lest you think you are forgotten.
I hope you all took advantage of Cold Stone Creamery's free ice cream night as we did. I did get one phone call to let me know at least one family out there did. We enjoyed 2 Nutter Butter and 2 Marshmallow concoctions free of charge and then drove quickly home so that we could catch the school bus. Whuh?

Last night was Rock Creek Elementary School's open house and to ward off parking nightmares, the busses stopped through neighborhoods to pick families up. I think it was the highlight of Indy and Olivia's year. Just let them ride the bus, Merry Christmas kids! Eden was our tour guide at the school and she knows her way around that school already as if she built it herself.
I caught a glimpse of my life in three years when Olivia is finally old enough to start Kindergarten (shown below.) Can I get a hallelujah?
As you can see throughout the pictures, green t-shirts was a prevailing theme. I made these for them when we moved from Texas last year so that I could easily spot them in the airports. It has proven time and time again over the past year to be a spectacular help. And that is my tip for the day. Michael's frequently has t-shirts on sale 5 for $10. Get yourself some matching ones, iron on your family name and you have your very own location device.
Through the busy halls of the school, all I had to do was search for little green shirts and we were reunited easily. Another one of my favorite things.
