BLUE-berry Picking

Two times and never again.

Last year we went blueberry picking and it took sooooo long that I vowed the next year I would just buy blueberries when they went on sale.

And yet, today I took 4 children, including a 6-week old to the same farm, under the same conditions, in the same heat and tried again. Look at all those berries!

Let's just put it this way...blueberries are $1.75 per pound and our total was $1.44. Yah! It was that fun and easy! (Subtle hints of sarcasm in that last comment.)

It's been a u-pick berry summer!

Thanks for the memories but we will stick with raspberries (& these and these too) from now on.
