Take one apple, preferable a granny smith for it's tartness to counter act the salty peanut butter.
Take a melon baller and carve out the stem part of the apple, keeping it intact. Keep balling out the core until you almost hit bottom. Make sure it is hollowed out without losing too much of the apple meat. Depends on your desired peanut butter to apple ratio..jpg)
Spoon some peanut butter into a ziploc bag and cut off the tip so you can pipe the peanut butter right into the apple. This makes it much easier to fill it to capacity. Feel free to add my magic ingredient of a few chocolate chips half way through. The contrast is a beautiful thing and it even looks like seeds when bitten into.

Top off the apple with the original stem top and you have a perfect little package of goodness.
You can slice it for the kids or stick it into the lunch box whole. I ate one of these like a normal apple but instead you get the surprise middle without having to eat around the seeds...just eat the whole thing while your eyes roll back into your head.
