Well, I have done it again. Got it into my little head that I can do a pretty good job. I take Eden to Kid Cuts nowadays but Olivia, she is just a babe still. I decided that it was just getting too long for my taste and I think her personality fits the "bobb" look better. I did it. I opened up that hair cutting box and it all happened in slow motion like my brain was giving me extra time to reconsider. I wet down her hair (mistake #1) then grabbed the scissors and pulled some down. Cut, cut, cut. No rhyme, no reason, just straight across.
Before I knew it, there was more in my hand than I remember cutting and it is shorter than the other side so I have to cut the other side to match and it goes on and on. I should have just stopped mid cut and rushed her to the emergency hair salon but I didn't. I remember thinking, "save me!"
Now, before you all anxiously scroll down to see the horrific outcome, you can't tell by the pictures. I know it is bad but the camera doesn't really pick it up. I have seen it dry now and it is not pretty in all its 50 layers of glory. Wait 'til she gets a good night's sleep to induce bed head, then I will know the catastrophic consequences of my actions.

Before After
Stayed tuned until tomorrow when I get back from Kid Cuts.

She's darling no matter what. :)
hey-its all about FOAM ROLLERS-curls will hide ANYTHING! :) (believe me...i cut ben's hair.)
I got a frantic call from Debi last year. She had done the same thing to Lily. I'm no professional but I wasn't the hysterical mother so I was able to save her from an emergency trip to the salon.
