This last weekend was Maple Valley Days here. We decided the take the kids on the free shuttle and walk around the park. We looked at old cars, didn't ride the roller coasters (much to Eden's chagrin) and ate a humble lunch of $3.00 nachos, $2.50 popcorn and juice brought from home. Talk about mark up!
The kids got balloons and made crowns at different booths. The sun had just made an appearance when we got there so we did enjoy that. We initially went to watch the lawn mower races but couldn't find them but we did find enough free candy to keep everybody happy.
