WARNING! These blogs are addicting!

Cooking has been something I have had to grow into, pretty much by demand because of having children. Somedays I don't want to look at another recipe for the rest of my life and dinner is a burden and then a new cookbook will arrive in the mail and I get excited, inspired and crazy. All of a sudden, I don't know which recipe to try first and we will be having 3 main dishes for dinner...overkill. Well, it helps to know where to look for inspiration and lately, this has been the case. I wanted to give a little review of some of my favorite cooking blogs...check 'em out, you'll end up a regular Betty Crocker.

The Pioneer Woman has been my favorite from the beginning with her quick wit and step by step, photographed instructions. I have tried several of her recipes and generally she has good taste with hearty comfort foods.

Baking Blondie has some of your basic well known recipes with all the nice reviews you want to remember how good the recipe is.

Okay, so this blog Candy Blog isn't exactly a baking or cooking blog persay but I love candy and hearing about it and looking at it and smelling it and sucking on it and making it and eating it, of course. Take a step back in time and check out their insights, comparisons and history lessons on well known and nostalgic candy.

Now, Prudence Pennywise is incredible because it is everything you want to make only she throws a small twist on things and kicks it up a notch. Who wouldn't want to try a recipe called Root Beer Barbecue Chicken? She calls her recipes, Scandalously Good Food!

Fresh, funny and flavorful. The Kitchen Sink shops her local farmer's market and shares her great finds with us in refreshing recipes. Her clean site makes it easy to follow.

Sugar Plum is kind of a walk down the path of this woman's ranting. It's 50% witty insight into her life and 50% cooking with yummy ingredients.
