I am not happy about these pictures. The kids had planted some apple seeds in a pot of soil and this morning, when the went out to see their seeds, they happened upon something else. They all ran in screaming of yellow and orange spiders. I have never actually seen spiders hatch from their web nest but this was disgusting. Tons of them, all hovering on their mother's web, hatching rapidly from the dirt below.
I ran for the raid, murdered them all with a healthy dose, threw away the kids' precious pot of seeds and hosed the whole place down. I even saw the mother and let her have a long, satisfying drink from the Raid can. She got her own little swimming pool until she stopped kicking and relaxed. She seemed so peaceful with her body all shriveled up. Rest in peace, instigators of my nightmares.
I hope you can click on the photos to enlarge and get the grand scope of how appalling the situation was. I hate spiders.

That is disgusting! I hate spiders too! At least you were able to kill them all, including their sweet mother :) that chose to invade your space with her nasty little ugly babies!
