I didn't think I would find time to add a blog or two but this morning, since the sun rises at 4am, I am up and am going to squish in a few minutes of blogging.
A lot has happened in the last 72 hours and I will try to keep it brief so that I can still prepare my lesson.
Friday was such a beautiful day and I had to CLEAN all day to get ready for vacation. The kids and I did find time to take a bike ride together and I was pretty proud of myself when I was able to hook up the child carrier on the back of my bike using a little elbow grease and some random bolts. I was very ingenuitive. (You like that word don't you, it's my word but Webster's Dictionary doesn't approve yet.)
The kids rode bikes around the cul-de-sace for awhile with a friend and it was so cute, all of them with their training wheels.

We then loaded up in the car and took off for a couple of garage sales looking for a camping mattress for our trip. No luck there but we did come home with a $1 swimming pool with built in slide and a huge bucket of mega blocks.

Since it was my birthday, Rob found a babysitter for that night at 9:00 and he took me for a surprise. We ended up at Wal-Mart looking at bikes. We need one more bike so that we can all go riding as a family. We weren't up to spending as much as they wanted so we settled on a fatter seat for my current bike and we will look on craigslist for a used bike. We had a good 1 1/2 hours to ourselves.
I got a great many phone calls from some family and friends. Even my brother Kyle called so that I could wish him a happy unbirthday. How nice. Thank you for all your love and wishes.
Indy even got into the spirit of things and vacuumed up a storm with my new kone vacuum.
